Kristin and I wanted to bless my co-workers with a few needs (coffee pot and microwave) they had, as I ended my time at Washington Regional. We took them by around midnight (my typical shift) and handed them out. It was in interesting experience. The monitor techs and my director were both shocked. Neither had any idea that it was coming. I had opportunities with each of them to tell them about our church discussing what it means to “love the city” like Jesus, that part of that is recognizing need and meeting that need, and the response was great. They were grateful and speechless. (“I don’t know what to say. Thank you.”) I pray that the Lord’s name is made great from something as small as a coffee pot and microwave. I love those people and am grateful for an opportunity to love them.
