We have officially survived our first month on the field! It has been a bit of a crazy ride trying to get settled in and adjusted, but hopefully things are headed toward calming down a bit. Last week was a different kind of adventure for us. We had the incredible blessing of having a week to spend in the Dominican Republic, being taught and encouraged by different speakers, and getting to know others who are serving all around the Americas. It was a busy week of meetings and messages, but also a great time of resting and making new friendships. One of the special things that we were a part of was a special offering taken up for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Between the several hundred missionaries that came, we were able to raise over $240,000! It was an amazing week to be a part of, and I am really grateful to all of the people who helped to make this big gathering of people happen. Now, after an eventful trip back, we have made it home to Mexico, and are ready to really dive into learning our language, and getting to know the people here. As always, I truly appreciate your prayers!
- Pray for the two lead families on our team, as they travel back for a year of stateside assignment.
- Pray for the family whose internet we are able to utilize. Pray that as we enjoy this commodity that God will open up opportunities for Gospel witness.
