E. Asia – Hands On IMB – July 2015

16 Jul

A lot has happened the last week and a half, a lot of traveling and not enough sleep. We spent a week in Taiwan, training for our time here in E. Asia, the time there was very fruitful, but I know I personally was ready to come to our city. Our time in Taiwan did help us get aligned with the time zone here, so we hit the ground running. We finally arrived to our new home late Sunday night (July 12), since then we have been mainly focusing on getting used to our new city, meeting people and adjusting to the new culture.  Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to live our lives here in this new city. Pray for the people even more so, that their hearts will be open to hear and receive.

We are now in our second day in our city! The big city life (14 million people) is gonna be an adventure for sure! We actually just completed our first class time of Mandarin.. Gonna be a fun language to learn! So please keep us in your prayers that we will be able to be good listeners and quick learners so we can apply the language into our every day life out in the field. Our week of training in Taiwan was amazing, the Father really stretched me and prepared me for what is ahead in the coming months. Please keep me in your prayers that I lean on the Father for strength for every day life, and that he will shine through me to the people. Also pray that the Spirit will help us find people of peace so we can have great friendships with them and that their hearts would be soften to the truth. Thank you all for your love and support!
