*While Joel and Wes Burgess are ministering on the river with our partners, Annett Davidson is pouring into her family and Mike Harvey is serving alongside Bellevue Baptist at La Aljaba Children’s Home.
Our focus for today was to move the Children’s Home to their new location. There are great memories of the location they have ministered out of the last number of years. Last year, God provided the funding and the first building was getting closer to completion, now this year they are finally moving in.
This was certainly a very physically demanding task, but God provided the strength, endurance and encouragement. All in all it was a very productive day, we have them 95% moved and now we will start working inside the buildings getting things organized and finished. Several of the children helped throughout the day and they were always wanting to show us how strong they are, pulling up their shirt sleeves to show their muscles after each box. Even in the midst of hard work there is constant laughter, teasing and fun.
